Job Description : Nannies + more…® International is seeking a Professional Temporary Nanny/Family Assistant in Los Angeles and New Mexico.
Location: Los Angeles and New Mexico
Parents: Professional Parents; Movie Producers
Children: Twins: 9-years-old
Local Candidates Only: Flexible
Type of Assignment: Full-time; Mondays-Fridays; 50 hours guaranteed
Salary: Excellent starting rate at $1750.00 a week for 50 hours, anything over the 50 hours will be paid an additional rate. The average workweek will be 55-60 hours, depending on the parent’s filming schedule. This is considered an independent contractor, so this is the “Net Rate.”
May 2022 in Los Angeles and June, July, and part of August 2022 in New Mexico
Live in or Live out: Live-In; Beautiful private quarters with separate entrances. The private quarter has its own bed and bath, and the kitchen is shared with the family.
While in LA for the month of May, Parents will be in New Mexico for pre-filming. Grandparents will be there to help out while the parents are in New Mexico for the month of May, but Nanny would take responsibility of the children for the month, then everyone will travel to New Mexico for the months of June, July, and part of August.
Start Date: May 2022
Length of Assignment: Temporary; May, June, July, and part of August
Experience: 5+years of professional nanny experience in private homes
Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the US or US Citizen
The candidate must have at least three excellent professional references, three-character references, and a clear background.
The candidate must provide great flexibility in scheduling if needed.
Workstyle Personality:
Seeking someone who respects family’s privacy, is highly reliable, hands-on, a self-starter, a team player, ability to multi-task, passionate about their position as a nanny/family assistant, excellent work ethic, educationally focused, extremely patient, energetic, and consistently exhibits a friendly/happy professional personality, all these characteristics are essential to the family.
COVID SAFE: follow Current CDC guidelines, take caution, social distancing, and wear a mask in public. Must feel comfortable with getting vaccination + booster.
Childcare Duties: Very educational focuses to help the children with age-appropriate activities, being very active and engaging, and building a relationship with the children.
Household: house/family assistance, organization, light housekeeping, household errands such as grocery shopping, dry cleaners, assisting with cooking for the family and children homestyle meals daily/weekly.
Driving: Running errands, taking children to activities.
Requirements:
Professional Experience:
At least 5 years of professional nanny experience in private homes with school-aged children.
Language: Fluent in English
Travel: Once; to New Mexico
Weekends: Occasional; with notice
