Job Description : Job Title – Supply Chain Specialist – II
Location – Foster City CA 94404 (Hybrid -2-3 days on site)Duration- 12+ Months
Purpose of Role
This role will be responsible for maintaining daily transactions on the Master Production Schedule, reconciling data reports between Gilead and contract manufacturing facilities, and updating work orders and purchase orders in Oracle ERP.
Core Responsibilities:Participates in daily meetings that support internal stakeholders review and actioning of Master Production Schedule.Inputs, maintains, and manages accuracy and completeness daily within Master Production Schedule.Establishes sequence and lead-time of each batch to meet shipping dates.Work cross-functionally with the CMO Management Team and CMOs to ensure daily reports are received in a timely manner.Processes changes in the ERP system to reflect schedule adjustments according to production progress, change orders, or other delaying conditions. Ensures that open Work Order are in sync with associated Purchase Orders.Updates ERP system data to report production activity and material issuance/movement. Verifies API issuances are in alignment with batch records to support GxP lot tracing requirements.Represents Global Supply Chain on daily project meetings.Develops, maintains and communicates metrics to monitor and improve performance.
Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:2-5 years of relevant experience in related field and a HS diploma or Certificate to FETAC level 6Experience in pharmaceutical operations/cGMP environment highly desirable.Able to develop solutions to a wide range of complex problems.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.Demonstrates strong planning and organizational skills coupled with time management and multi-tasking capabilities.Has an aptitude for working with computer systems to plan and manage supply chain requirements (Kinaxis RapidResponse, SAP, EBS, JDA)Proficiency in ERP system software, with emphasis on Operations/Supply Chain functionality.Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.Good organizational and time management skills, including working knowledge of basic project management tools and techniques.
