Position : Veterinary Hospital Receptionist
Job Description : Blue Cross Pet Hospital is a long established veterinary hospital that has been committed to providing outstanding veterinary services to the city of San Francisco for over 90 years. We are a full-service, 2-doctor practice located just blocks away from the incredibly beautiful Alamo Square Park. Our facility is open Monday through Saturday and we are closed on Sunday and major holidays.
We are looking for full-time and part-time Veterinary Receptionists to join our team. The ideal candidate would have veterinary office experience, but it is not required! We believe in providing opportunities and will train the right people. Our Blue Cross Pet Hospital team is comprised of hard working, diverse, intelligent, reliable, and positive people! We not only respect each other; but we support and encourage one another. We hope to hire a person who is compassionate, has a strong work ethic, and obviously loves animals! Responsibilities and Duties:
Answer multi-line phone system
Triage and schedule appointments
Placement of clients and patients in exam rooms
Prepare and dispense medication
Provide support to clients, staff, and doctors
Process payments
Proficiently record communications, laboratory reports, and medical notes
