Job Title: Early Childhood Center Coordinator
Status: Full-time, non-exempt
Wage: $16.70/hr or depends on experience
Reports to: Development Center Director
Probation: Subject to Montana statutory introductory (probationary) period

Job Description: The Early Childhood Education Center Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Development Center Director with overall operations and administration of the YMCA Development Center, insuring quality experiences for enrolled children, families and staff. The Coordinator handles administrative tasks and duties including scheduling, licensing requirements and compliance, STARS and staff training. The Coordinator must qualify as a Lead Teacher according to Montana state licensing requirements, and be willing and capable to substitute in all classrooms with all age groups as needed. The Coordinator must have a passion for young children, a high level of energy and good organizational and mentoring skills. Must be able to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced environment with the unique challenges of a non-profit community service organization, and work with limited supervision.

Required:
high school diploma or better
must qualify as a Lead Teacher per Montana state licensing requirements
have current CPR and first aid or obtain within first 30 days of employment,
one to two years administrative experience
Preferred: college degree in Early Education, Child Development, Psychology or related field
