Job Description : Union: Non Union Status: Full timeSchedule: 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Summary:Acts as a liaison to the clinical end users for support of clinical information systems. Works collaboratively with quality, performance improvement, and analytics to ensure highest quality and safety through the appropriate use of the electronic health record. Provides expert assistance and support to clinical end-users of the clinical information system. Assists in the implementation of upgrades, enhancements and maintenance of the clinical information system. Works with interdisciplinary teams to ensure appropriate processes and procedures are developed for working with new clinical applications. Provides education and orientation to appropriate staff on the use of relevant clinical information systems.Works under the supervision of the CMIO or designee.MINIMUM ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS:· Clinical Degree with a minimum of 5 years’ clinical experience such as Nursing Diploma, ADN, BSN, NP, CRNA, PA, MD, DO, MBBS, or other similar clinical degrees.· Proficient in the use of the electronic medical record demonstrated by training and testing. Prefer certification in any of the Epic modules/applications and/or a credentialed trainer in one of the Epic applications.· Experience with personal computers, information management and a computerized clinical system is required.
