Job Description : The Poderosa Social Club is excited to begin hiring for ALL BOH positions! We are looking for hardworking, team-oriented individuals looking to be a part of a large, fast paced restaurant with a unique, elevated menu. We hope to hear from you soon!Cheers & Bring Your Friends**Sous ChefSecond in command, reports directly to Chef De Cuisine on a daily basisAssists in managing the kitchenMaintains a positive attitude as well as a standard of hard work and excellenceFills in when the Chef De Cuisine is not inHelps lead the nightline kitchen team through serviceMakes sure that station cooks are ready for service on a daily basisResponsible for ensuring all of our dinner product is produced in a timely, efficient and cost effective mannerMakes sure that the line is kept tidy and organized throughout serviceIs conscious of kitchen moralHelps in the creation of dinner specialsHelps to minimize wasteHelps in the training of kitchen staff, old and newDelegates closing responsibilitiesAssigns breaks for kitchen staff**Lead Prep CookUpholds a standard of hard work and excellenceAssists in managing the daytime kitchenCompletes hands on food prep tasksEnsures that all food prep tasks are completed in a timely manner and on a daily basisEnsures that all food is prepared to recipe specification with appropriate consistencies, flavors and tastesDelegates prep tasks to make sure all prep items are ready for serviceMaintains an organized and clean kitchen during the daytime prep periodSecondary position responsible for ordering food from purveyorsResponsible for ensuring product is put away and stored in its proper manner**Lead Station CookSupports the Sous Chef in ensuring a smooth run serviceExcels at every line cook stationMaintains a standard of hard work and excellenceIs ready for service everydayHelps lead the kitchen team through serviceMakes sure that station cooks are ready for dinner on a daily basisResponsible for ensuring all of our product is produced in a timely and efficient mannerMakes sure that the line is kept tidy and organized throughout serviceIs conscious of kitchen moralHelps make specialsHelps minimize wasteHelps train new cooks**Nightline Station CooksMaintains a standard of hard work and excellenceStock their station before serviceMaintains a clean and organized station at all times, even during a rushExecutes and cook menu items per spec in a timely mannerKeeps up with inventory on their stationRotates inventory to use the oldest product firstBreaks down station after serviceChecks out with Sous Chef or Lead Station CookHelps properly clean the hot line after all the rest of the stations are broken down**Prep CooksUpholds a standard of hard work and excellenceCompletes hands on food prep tasksEnsures that all food prep tasks are completed in a timely manner and on a daily basisEnsures that all food is prepared to recipe specification with appropriate consistencies, flavors and tastesMaintains an organized and clean kitchen during the daytime prep periodResponsible for ensuring product is put away and stored properly**DishwashersSet up dishpitSupport station cooks through service by providing a constant supply of clean dishes and cookwareKeeps dishes put away in their designated spotsPreform swamper dutiesDeep cleans and works on cleaning projectsDoes final sweep and mop of kitchenTakes out all garbageCleans push cartsTakes out broken down cardboard boxes*Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $16.00 – $30.00 per hourBenefits:Employee discountFlexible scheduleSchedule:10 hour shift8 hour shiftDay shiftHolidaysMonday to FridayNight shiftOvertimeWeekend availabilitySupplemental Pay:TipsEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Work Location: One location
