Pay Rate: $28.18 Per Hour
Major Tasks:
Purchasing/InvoicingContacts vendors for quotes and availability of parts and equipment.Evaluates suppliers to ensure the lowest cost, highest quality vendors are selected when applicable.Enters requisitions with appropriate account codes and cost centers.Creates purchase orders in accordance with corporate purchasing standards.Investigate and correct payable issues.Shipping/ReceivingMaintains the stock room, ensuring all parts are received, inventoried, and properly located.Ensures that appropriate people notified when orders are received.Arranges pick up of items needing to be sent out for repair.Occasionally pick up parts from vendors as needed.Stockroom/OfficeAssist in maintaining inventory of all parts in eAM.Assist in maintaining the Maintenance Library and keeps catalogues, manuals, and parts books updated and current.Assist in cleaning stockroom and office.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry materials weighing 50 pounds on a regular basisMay work indoors and outdoors as needed. Exposure to heat up to 120 degrees and cold to 0 degreesEmployee must be able to tolerate non-toxic paint odors and be able to wear a respirator as requiredMay work in areas where noise level is such that hearing protection is requiredMay work in areas where toxic, flammable, and hazardous materials are present
Basic Qualifications:
Must be able to read, write, comprehend and communicate in EnglishMust be at least 18 years of ageMust have reliable transportation to and from workMust be legally authorized to work in the country for which you are applying for employment without now or in the future needing sponsorship for employment visa statusPrevious purchasing experienceExperience using Microsoft Office applicationsMust be willing to work overtime with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferred Qualifications:
An Associates Degree or higher education1 to 3 years (or more) experience working in a purchasing, accounting, customer service, manufacturing or other related field
