Job Description : Part 107 Certified PilotAbout Skyfish: Skyfish is currently seeking a Drone Pilot to oversee the ground and flight operations of an unmanned aircraft system. As part of ground operations, you will perform safety checks and troubleshoot mechanical equipment issues. Your other duties involve making the right decisions at the right time during each flight, which includes taking into account the weather, route, fuel or technical requirements of the UAS, and objective. To apply for this position, completed training or degree program in aviation is preferred and you must have your Remote Pilot Certificate (UAS Part 107 license).Pilot Responsibilities: Check drones before a flight to ensure safe and proper operationConduct flight demonstrationsEnsure compliance with all FAA regulationsAnalyze weather forecasts to ensure safe flightsDocument pre- and post-flight logsMonitor drones during flightPlan drone flight routes and navigate drones along designated pathsGather information or produce aerial photographs, as neededPerform equipment testing, troubleshooting, and maintenancePilot Qualifications: Completion of training or a degree in aviation, engineering, or a related field preferredMust have a Remote Pilot Certificate from the FAA (UAS Part 107 license)Must be able to travel up to 40 percent of the timeComfortable operating a UAS in various weather and light conditionsHand-eye coordinationMust be detail oriented and be able to follow specific instructionsExcellent electronic and mechanical skillsStrong communication skillsAbility to remain calm and collected at all timesJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payApplication Question(s):What percentage of the time are you willing to travel for work?License/Certification:Part 107 license (Required)Work Location: One location
