Job Description : Spa Attendant *We are only accepting local applicants, please do not apply if you live out of state.Jackson Wellsprings mineral hot springs is seeking a long-term, hands-on, self-motivated individual to join our frontline team in a part-time capacity. WellSprings is calling-in an individual who is inspired by health & healing, community resilience, and respect for the rejuvenating properties of healing water. Applicants must have a fierce drive and dedication for cultivating strong communities and work well independently, with high adaptability and quick problem-solving skills. We are pursuing individuals with the willingness and stamina to achieve personal goals, paralleled with the larger vision of Wellsprings as a community center.**Office Tasks and Qualifications:Greet customers in a welcoming and personable manner;Exhibit clear communication skills while answering phones, taking messages, and interacting with customers and staff;Answer questions pertaining to the healing waters, property/grounds, and events;Demonstrate a strong knowledge base of WellSpring rules, regulations, and policies when checking in spa guests & campers;Book massages, private tubs, “glamping” structures, camping & RV;Embrace office-related organizational tasks;Handle monetary exchanges, balance cash register, demonstrate computer adeptness and fluency;Demonstrate clear boundaries and communication skills while setting limits.**Cleaning tasks:Clean spa facility, locker rooms, and pool deck between reservations;Clean and organize office during low-volume times;Clean private soaking tubs and massage suites between use;Wash linens and towels;Inventory cleaning supplies, informing staff of malfunctioning equipment;**Personal Skills and Qualities:Excellent customer service skills;Problem-solving skills under high-stress conditions;Clear and direct communication;Composure and ease in high volume situations;Multitasking, a MUST;Fluency with computers and several basic programs;Basic troubleshooting skills regarding computer technology and pool mechanics;Composure and grace with a diverse range of clientele.**The employee in this position will be required to maintain the spa facilities, building, and surrounding spaces. The staff member will also be responsible for taking care of plants and outdoor areas surrounding the spa facilities building.
