Job Description : Chaplain(Part-Time or Full-Time)Position provides and coordinates spiritual services to patients and their families as defined by Federal and State laws and regulations and the policies and procedures of Klamath Hospice, Inc. All patients and family members are followed by the Chaplain to determine and fulfill needs on a continuing basis. The Chaplain identifies pastoral and spiritual resources in the community and coordinates these to assure that denominational preferences are met.Requirements: Graduate of an accredited seminary or school of theology or Bible College; Master of Divinity preferred.Two years or equivalent full-time experience in Chaplain work within the last three years.Demonstrated clinical experience in the areas of life-threatening and chronic illness, grief and loss.A knowledge of and appreciation of religious values, beliefs and practices that allows for open and flexible communication with people of all faiths and those of none.Basic computer knowledge.Possess valid state driver’s license and reliable automobile and be willing to operate personal car necessitated by nature of job.Proof of current automobile insurance with minimum state financial responsibility limits.Benefits (Employees Regularly Scheduled to Work 32 Hours (more)/Week): Fully paid medical, dental, vision, and prescription insurance.Fully paid short-term and long-term disability insurance.Fully paid life insurance.Paid Time Off – Up to 25 days.Paid Holidays403(b) Retirement PlanSection 125 Cafeteria PlanMileage ReimbursementAbout Klamath Hospice…Klamath Hospice, serving the community since 1982, is the only non-profit hospice in Klamath Falls and is a United Way agency.
