Position : IT Security Analyst I – Job 7000
Job Description : Summary:Provides technical support for the medical center’s information security program standards, processes, and procedures. Participates in quality assessment and continuous quality improvement. Complies with all appropriate safety and infection control standards. Performs all job duties and responsibilities in a courteous and customer-focused manner according to the Hurley Family Standards of Behavior.Works under the supervision of the Chief Information Officer or designee who reviews work for conformance with established policies and procedures.Requirements:· One (1) year of experience supporting a large enterprise network environment. Two years of education, or industry certification such as Security +, SSCP, GIAC Security Essentials, etc., may substitute for required experience. Demonstrates analytical and problem solving abilities.· Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with department heads, supervisors, and other Medical Center personnel.· Demonstrated working knowledge:o Network securityo HIPAA and HIPAA Risk Assessmentso Security frameworks such as NIST or CISo PCIo Security best practiceso IAMPreferred:· Bachelor of Science degree relating to Computer Security, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent.· Preferred experience with Network Security and/or HIPAA/HITECH Security standards.· Preferred education with Network Security focus.· Information Security Certification (i.e. Security+, SSCP, GIAC Security Essentials, etc.).· Previous experience working with IT related policies and frameworks.Job Type: Full-timePay: $25.71 – $38.57 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceEmployee assistance programEmployee discountFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offParental leaveRetirement planTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftHolidaysMonday to FridayApplication Question(s):Do you have two years of education, or industry certification such as Security +, SSCP, GIAC Security Essentials, etc., may substitute for required experience.
