Job Description : Cottonwood Country Club SuperintendentPosition: Cottonwood Country Club, in Glendive Montana, is looking for a full-time golf course superintendent for a 9-hole golf course. This could be a 10-month position depending on the candidate’s preference.Location: Glendive Montana is located on the Yellowstone River in Northeastern Montana and is a nationally renowned area for hunting and fishing. The entrance to Montana’s largest State Park, Makoshika, is minutes away from the first tee box and offers a wealth of outdoor activities.This secluded 9-hole golf course is well respected throughout the area for its great layout and pristine condition. With its mature cottonwood trees, great elevation changes and undulating greens it appeals to all golf enthusiasts.Responsibilities: The Superintendent position is responsible for all golf course repair and maintenance including but not limited to:· Daily review of course setup and conditions.· Oversee and assist in mowing and maintenance of golf course fairways, rough, greens, tee boxes and any other open spaces.· Oversee and assist with the maintenance of sprinkler systems, the sprinkler lines, sprinkler heads and pump station.· Oversee and assist with daily water applications.· Proficient in pesticide and fertilizer applications.· Oversee and assist with all equipment maintenance and repair.· Oversee and assist with rental cart fleet maintenance and repair.· Oversee and assist with light clubhouse maintenance.Qualifications: · Basic golf course knowledge, the ability to play golf is a plus.· Mechanical aptitude and/or experience, irrigation knowledge and/or experience is a plus.· High School Diploma or GED.· Current Driver’s License.Salary: · $35,000 – $50,000 per year dependent on qualifications.Job Type: Full-timePay: $35,000.00 – $50,000.00 per yearAbility to commute/relocate:Glendive, MT 59330: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)License/Certification:Driver’s License (Preferred)Work Location: One location
