Position : Human Resources Assistant
Job Description : Bay Cast is looking for an energetic, part time Human Resources/Office Assistant. This position will perform basic HR and admin functions such as filing, creating new hire employee packets, data entry, and other clerical duties required in an office environment.Duties/Responsibilities: · Answering phone calls and routing them to the correct department· Timekeeping for payroll including entering employee punches, auditing timecards for accuracy, entering PTO requests, maintaining attendance records, etc.· Data entry of new hire orientation paperwork· Making new employee and benefit packets for orientations· Updating current and archived employee files.· Other clerical duties including compiling reports, maintaining spreadsheets, filing, scanning, and faxing documentationRequired Skills/Abilities: · Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.· Good written and verbal communication skills.· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.Schedule: · Mon-Wed availability required· Flexible schedule during normal office hours (M-F, 8am-5pm)· Approx. 22-26 hours per weekEducation and Experience: · Administrative Assistant: 1-3 years preferred· Microsoft Office: 1 year preferred· Filing and Data Entry: 1 year preferred· HR Experience: Preferred but not required.Job Type: Part-timePay: $18.00 per hourBenefits:Flexible scheduleSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayEducation:High school or equivalent (Required)Work Location: One location
