The Project Manager role will be responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provide a single point of contact for those projects. This role will partner closely with the Banking Center Distribution team and Retail partners on data management & facility dashboard development. The role will serve as Product Manager for critical solutions and will provide technical and analytical guidance to the project team. This role will also recommend and act to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
Position Responsibilities:
Project Execution
Manages projects small/medium size projects of moderate complexity. Responsible for on-time delivery and execution of critical projects and initiatives to deliver business value. Works with core project team (such as business partners, vendors, and technical team) to develop detailed, actionable project schedules. Assigns tasks to team and develops detailed and accurate work schedules, project estimates, and resource plans. Executes, monitors, and controls projects from original concept through final implementation. Communicates accurate and timely project accomplishments and overall project health to stakeholders via required measures and methods (such as status reports, metrics, checkpoints, portfolio reports, and scorecards). Manages and monitors project with high focus on meeting required timelines, mitigate risk, and designing new processes or solutions to support the project Ensures timely approvals and follow corporate and department standards, policies, and procedures. With Core Team Leader manages project team, and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. Ensures support areas are engaged to drive effective solutions and the objectives of the project are met. Gather all required metrics from metrics owners. Work with metrics owners to produce accurate and understandable comments and metrics Review and analyze the integrity of the data received from the metric owners. Engage the metric owner if an issue is identified during the assessment of the data Provide input and /or make recommendations to identify, enhance, efficiently collect, and consolidate core metrics and associated analytics. Identifying and integrating new data sources and analytics as appropriate to support business unit Ensure data is current, accessible, accurate, and usable for analytical projects using tools Provide proactive guidance and advanced training to other team-members in data collection, interpretation, and analysis of metrics
Resource Planning
Ensures the right teams are engaged at the right time for the right work over the life of the project. Ensures accurate and timely resource time charges to assigned projects.
Risk Management
Proactively manages project risks and risk mitigation plans.
Position Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of Technology experience 4 years of Project Management experience 3 years of data analysis and research skills 2 years of experience with Data Manipulation 2 years of experience with Metric Visualization 2 years of Power BI experience 2 years of experience with project management and resource planning tools building and executing actionable plans Advanced Excel skills preferred
