Spathe Systems is seeking a Logistician in support of an Enterprise IT Service Management opportunity in the National Capitol Region supporting the United States Government.

Job Description:
SPATHE is looking for a qualified individual to support an Enterprise IT Service Management opportunity in the National Capitol Region supporting the United States Government. The Logistician must possess the aptitude, knowledge, interpersonal skills, and ability necessary to perform the following tasks:

Performs government property administration and accounting duties
Reviews contract and solicitation provisions for government property requirements, providing recommendations to project, contract, and proposal managers as applicable
Develops procedures for receipt and issue of materials and equipment
Prepares a variety of government required reports and represents the company during audits
May have responsibility for interface and negotiations with subcontractors
Maintain inventory control of Communications Security material (CCI) and handling of COMSEC material
Work as a COMSEC Custodian or Alternate COMSEC Custodian
May provide leadership for less experienced employees

Requirements:

BA/BS or equivalent + 3-10 years of experience
In-depth knowledge of inventory records and control, property management, government requirements and reporting requirements; able to negotiate with subcontractors
Strong business communication skills with strong verbal communications to interface effectively
Strong customer service ability and focus
Able to review a broad range of complex inventory records and requirements; track, report and develop recommendations; interface with subcontractors
Above average ability to troubleshoot issues
Detail oriented and organized; able to understand complex inventory control and tracking requirements; ensure accuracy; may review other’s work for accuracy

Schedule:

Contractor personnel working on-site will be required to work up to 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, during the contract period. A typical duty day while present onsite is from 0800 to 1700. The scope of this contract provides 24/7/365 IT Service Management and support. As such, some positions may be required to perform shift work and may be required to provide surge capability in support of the customer’s mission.

Travel:

Travel may be required to various CONUS locations at the direction of the customer
