Position : Trail Crew Manager
Job Description : Overview:
Big Sky Resort is seeking an experienced individual to oversee Big Sky Resort’s extensive hiking and multi-use trail network. Responsibilities of the Trail Crew manger will include; hiring a solid team to build and maintain trails. Training team members on trial building best practices and equipment use. Long term planning, mapping and prioritization. Coaching team members and ensuring safe and productive working environment. Maintaining well organized department documentation.
Responsibilities:
Lead planning, design, construction and maintenance of the resort’s trail system.
Prioritize trail maintenance needs.
Train team members with proper trail maintenance and building techniques.
Hire and develop a team capable of expanding our trail network in a meaningful way
Map and document resort’s trail system
Maintain a safe working environment by following company policies and proper training
Provides superior guest service by following resort guidelines
Respond to all guests and employees in a courteous and efficient manner
Meet department goals set by immediate supervisor
Assume responsibility for the cleanliness of the resort.
Make safety of our guests and employees a priority
Must maintain a positive and friendly attitude and demeanor in all internal and external interactions.
Must accept diverse job assignments
Be willing to work a flexible schedule with flexible hours
Other Job duties maybe assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years’ experience building or maintaining trails of all types
Must have valid driver’s license or be able to obtain one
