Job Description : Dear Applicant,We are a women-owned and operated cannabis bakery. Our small team works hard five to six days a week, with varying shifts ranging from 5 AM to close at 7 PM. The production team is responsible for the scaling, mixing, and storing of our edible products, always with an eye toward quality and consistency. We are looking for someone to work approximately 35 to 40 hrs per week.Preference will be given to applicants who include a cover letter which answers: why you and why this company?Position Title: Bakery Production AssociatePosition requirements: Comfortable working with commercial kitchen equipmentHave or obtain a current Food Handler’s cardHave or obtain a marijuana worker’s permitFollow written and oral directionsHave the ability to do a fast-paced, physical jobBe able to lift 50lbs and be on your feet for long periodsDisplay a great attitude; with the ability to work well alone and as part of a teamability to do repetitive work without losing focus21 years of age or olderCooking/baking/kitchen experience preferredPosition responsibilities: Weighing, scaling, mixing, and processing ingredients.Labeling productsTracking ingredient expiry dates and arranging their use accordingly.Advanced ability to multitask and follow instructions given by managersWillingness to work independently or with other team members to solve problems, plan schedules, fulfill orders, and create fantastic baked goodsMaintaining a clean and tidy stationCleaning the work area after production hours and preparing it for the next dayAdditional duties may be assigned on requestKnowledge of food and health industry regulationsJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $18.00 – $24.00 per hourBenefits:Paid time offPhysical Setting:BakerySchedule:10 hour shift8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Portland, OR 97206: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:Kitchen/baking: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit (Preferred)Work Location: One location
