Position : Lead Grower – Rec (OLCC) Cannabis Farm.

Job Description : Primary Grower – Must have 5 years experience managing a recreational cannabis farm.Job Title: Grower/ManagerReports to: Member ManagerJob Purpose: The general nature of this position is to maintain the ecosystem of the garden and production of the farm.Duties and Responsibilities: These tasks will be performed directly by Grower.Minimum yield and quality is continuously met. Crop should be free of pests and burned bud tips.Generate planning maps and timelines for each cropGreet the grower assistant/maintenance team every day when they arrive and debrief them for the day. Make sure they have the proper workstation setup and review the procedures daily with the team as they start their day/new task. Oversee all stages of growing starting with cloning, transplanting, cleaning, pruning, trellis, harvesting, mertc, post-production ect.. Ensure that the people working under you are working at a satisfactory pace and that they are performing the procedures properly. Notify Member Manager if warnings need to be issued to the team or an individual team member..Notify Member Manager if any procedures need to be updated.Organize harvest crew. Request extra help 1 week in advance if the plants need to be harvested all at once versus a staggered harvest.Maintain 3 day turnaround in between harvests.Maintain temps/RH in drying roomAssist in checking on trim team, setting up, or organizing material associated with trimming, bucking, or any post-productionTrain new employees on SOP’s. Review procedures with employees for the first time and place the signed procedures in their employee folder or other designated folder.Train and enforce safety procedures. If a written warning needs to be issued to someone working underneath you let Member Manager the same day that the violation occurs.Stock all nutrients and supplies, order as needed.Operate timers for lights, water pumps, and other equipmentSchedule time off around important times at grow whenever possible. Member Manager can fill in with enough noticeMaintain all aspects of Metrc and OLCC complianceOrder and assign plant tags before the plants reach 18 inches. Double check the plant tag aspect of Metrc to make sure it has been performed correctly by Metrc team.Audit immature plants in metrc as they are created/destroyed and adjust the grow map according to OLCC laws and farm procedures.Maintain Google Docs grow journalCollect and file new employee paperwork and other paperwork in an organized fashion in file cabinets.Oversee dehumidification equipment and HVAC maintenance/cleaningNotify Member Manager to perform HVAC and Dehumidifier repairLog harvest Metrc data on same day of harvest, on normal work days (not off days)Transplant plants before any yellowing or malnutrition occursMaintain 4-5 day a week spray scheduleorganize regular maintenance of the outdoor OLCC canopy including weeding, trash removal, and actively maintain any greenhouses used for veggies.Organize and participate in clean up of property outside OLCC canopy in the “Off season” (generally after October) inc. burning and clearing brush and potential chainsaw work. To have multiple growers on staff we will need everyone to be on board with a certain amount of this work to stay busy through the winter, of course the Cannabis production will always be the primary focus.Enforce any Covid prevention procedures mandated by state or federal laws.Qualifications:Knowledge and skills associated with maintaining plant health and maintaining any equipment associated with gardening.Knowledge and skills associated with maintaining plant health and maintaining any equipment associated with gardening.5 year management experienceThe ability to train other employees and be responsible for those working with or who are under the direction of the grower.Performing production metrc work regularly, accurately, and compliantly within OLCC/Metrc regulationsActing with professionalism under all settings, being a positive example for the rest of the team. Understand that you are a representative of our company in all settings.**Physical Requirements:The grower should be physically performing the work associated with all stages of indoor gardening along with those they are managing.**Direct Reports:Must be responsible for hiring/firing and direct oversight of at at least 2 employeesPrimary gtower, Secondary grower, Maintenance position, harvest team, trim team(any post production)**Work Schedule:All duties and responsibilities must be met on a daily basis, within normal work schedule or overtime if needed.5 Days a week work schedule starting____________Overtime could be necessary during harvest time or other busy work periods**Duties NOT covered by Grower PositionNotes: Member Manager will perform respirator fit test and safety training for new employeesHVAC and dehumidifier repairSecurity system review and maintenance*COVID-19 Precaution(s):Personal protective equipment provided or requiredSocial distancing guidelines in placeSanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in placeWork RemotelyNoJob Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hourSchedule:8 hour shiftWork Location: One location
