Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or or equivalent practical experience
3 years of experience working in operations, program management, or relevant professional experience
Program management experience, leading cross-functional projects, developing partnerships, and aligning stakeholders
Preferred qualifications:

Master’s degree or equivalent (MBA/MA/MS)
4 years of NPI product launch experience launching high-profile products/services, with 2 years of experience building excellent C-suite communications and assets
Familiarity with one or more of the following industries: Computers/Entertainment/Consumer Hardware/Electronics
Detail oriented, strong communication skills, organized, ability to work well in ambiguity and in a team dynamic, and excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to take initiative and improve processes, with excellent time management and organizational skills
Natural leader with the ability to motivate and lead teams directly and indirecty

In this role, you’ll launch programs with multiple stakeholders across the Devices and Services organization. You will have an opportunity to work on strategic projects and drive portfolio expansion.

The Product Launch team leads and executes new product launch (NPI) for Google Nest, scaling tools and processes while driving cross-functional work streams. In this role, you will drive the organization’s strategic product launches while also developing and implementing key business wide processes. This includes being responsible for: the flawless implementation and delivery of key product and country launches, developing cross-organization processes/trackers/tools, and communicating regularly with Google Nest executive management and cross-functional teams.
In this cross-functional, high-visibility role, you will have the opportunities to partner with key business and technical leaders across Google Nest as well as the broader Devices and Services product area (DSPA) to define and implement key business processes that will help shape product excellence. In addition, you will own the launch of strategic new products for Google Nest – ensuring the best landing in the market for these exciting and innovative products.
Responsibilities
Work with cross-functional teams (Business, Marketing, Product Planning, Logistics, Finance, Hardware, Software, Apps, Legal, Compliance, etc.) to deliver excellent product and country launches across Google Nest’s current and forthcoming portfolio of products
Develop, iterate, implement, and manage multiple key cross-product area processes to ensure operational excellence at scale. Drive consensus and accountability across all functions, own status trackers, communications, and other tools to support all programs, and develop launch schedules, track key milestones, and create contingency plans for high-risk deliverables
Communicate priorities, risks, and schedules to Google Nest executive management
Develop strategies to scale key elements of the business
Provide technical and infrastructure expertise to enable scale across product and country launch
