International Paper, Springfield Mill, a paper manufacturer, is seeking its next generation of top operators. We offer rewarding careers that start off at entry level.
Production workers start at $22.45 per hour and then, increase based on position assigned. Successful operators will have the opportunity to quickly gain new skills and promote into advanced positions earning between $25.05 – $25.50.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Pre-employment computer-based testing and panel interview
Pre-employment background check, drug test, and health evaluation
Submit to random drug screens as a condition of employment
Aptitude to learn new skills and seek further work opportunities
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems as they arise
Basic mechanical ability and knowledge of electrical tools and equipment
Demonstrate integrity and operate ethically
Personal accountability to working safely
Drive for success and advancement within the company
Work any shift and/or rotating shift schedule and overtime as required
Work holidays and/or weekends on a regular basis
Wear required personal protective equipment
Work in industrial conditions (i.e., warm or hot, dusty or dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, and heavy machinery, and working at heights with proper safety training and safety protection).
Schedule Requirements: Rotating 12-hour work schedule
Day Shift: 6:00 am – 6:00 pm
Night Shift: 6:00 pm – 6:00 am
Regular attendance is an essential function of the job. Employees will be required to work holidays, overtime, and weekends on a regular basis. May be required to change shifts and work off days as necessary.
