Job Description : Relationship Manager Role Overview: As the Relationship Manager, you’ll be part of our entrepreneurial system with the freedom to work hand in hand with an experienced financial advisor, based in the Portland Community, serving families in multiple states. Our financial services practice focuses in a very niche’ market of special needs planning and offers holistic and comprehensive financial planning and investment solutions to assist our clients in all aspects of their lives. This position is a key role within our up-and-coming growing organization. You’ll have access to technology, planning tool software, sales tools and a large resource network so you can focus on activities that get results. This role will play a key part in helping to achieve our financial goals and objectives each year. They are entrepreneurial minded as well as task minded helping drive revenue to the firm. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in supporting growth of our organization and wants to have a career that impacts the lives of others. He or she wants a position with upside mobility and the potential to grow personally, professionally, and financially.Most responsibilities can be divided up into 3 key areas: 1. Financial Planning ServicesManage compliance process for financial plans, submitted required documentationRequests and acquires needed documents for plan analysis from clientsTracking of payments and required compliance documentsData entry to planning software2. Investment Operations – to serve clients objectivesPrepare and track investment account applications, support clients in DocuSign processMonitor account approval and follow up on additional required documentation for approvalCoordination of transfer of client assets3. Ongoing Client Services and Relationship ManagementAs applicable, prepares client folders, client review documents and intakeMaintain our CRM system, to include tracking, activities and opportunitiesClient servicing requests, research, and connect with the clients to process and document case notes in CRMProvide, directly or indirectly, support to founder in working with the home office and new business team to provide prompt processing of new accounts and products and provide effective service current clients.Relationship Manager Qualifications: Familiarity with financial planning and investment products and services desired or a willingness to learnAbility to build rapport with clientsStrong analytical, critical thinking skills and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillBachelor’s degree, preferably in business or an equivalent combination of education and/or progressively responsible work experience.Financial training or background, with emphasis on financial planningKnowledge of computer technology and MS OfficeAbility to be diplomatic and empatheticAbility to be flexible and open minded & handle changeTeam orientatedAbility to prioritize tasks to ensure day to day schedule is on taskDemonstrated use of time management skillsHigh degree of organizational skillsAbility to take independent action to make sound decisionsA little bit about Abeona Group: Abeona Group helps families navigate the complex world of supporting a loved one experiencing intellectual or developmental delay, special needs, or disability.
