Job Description : BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST JOB DESCRIPTIONCloud Cannabis aims to help customers live higher, which is a mission grounded in the idea of helping each customer be the best version of themselves and enjoy life to its fullest. The ideal candidate for this role will be someone with a passion for cannabis and all of the beneficial properties cannabis provides to each and every consumer. Further, the candidate should have as much passion for solving problems with data in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The candidate will be responsible for transforming data into insight to assist the retail operations team in making informed decisions and maximize the value offered to Cloud’s customers. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for building and maintaining automated reports and self-service solutions capable of scaling as Cloud Cannabis continues to grow. You will be the expert who can provide ad-hoc support and help educate stakeholders on interpreting the results of an analysis. The candidate will report directly to the Director of Operations, creating the opportunity to provide value in every conversation affecting the direction and performance of the retail operations.Key Responsibilities:Architect scalable business intelligence solutions and processesCreate robust dashboards where stakeholders can easily generate insightsBecome the go-to person if stakeholders have questions or issues with data or data visualizationsDiagnose issues in real-time and provide guidance with key performance indicators and visualizationsPartner with business leaders to provide strategic and tactical supportRun ad-hoc analyses to help drive projects and key business initiatives forwardDocument data definitions, key metrics and sample reports, ensuring alignment and consistency in reporting across all retail operationsRequired Skills:Comprehensive understanding of accounting fundamentals, including but not limited to, sales, cost of goods sold, and inventory managementExperience with SQL and Python (or R)Proficient with spreadsheet software (Google and Excel)Professional traits not unique to this position, but necessary for all Cloud Cannabis employees:You grasp concepts easily but are not afraid to challenge the status quo;You are able to identify issues and are proactive in implementing solutions that will drive business decisions and growth;You enjoy solving problems and being in the weeds but have the ability to see the big picture;You can operate independently while recognizing the resources available to you;You are used to wearing multiple hats but you understand the importance of driving each project to its completion;You can manage your own workload but will humbly accept delegation and feedback; andYou recognize the work to fulfill the mission never stops but you understand the importance of maintaining a proper work-life balance.The pillars of Cloud Culture that unify our team are: 1.)
