Position : Event Production Assistant
Job Description : As a Event Production Assistant with 313 Presents, candidates will have hands on learning experience working behind the scenes of the Entertainment Industry at some of Pollstar’s top, award winning live entertainment venues in the country and world. A summer season with 313 Presents includes shadowing other teams and departments within the organization to give the full picture of what goes into making a successful event.
Responsibilities:
Work with Event Production team on pre-concert advances, organize details for pre-show VIP parties, assist with show VIP packages and meet & greets when needed, contact various vendors for show needs and more
Assist in the coordination of various private events on behalf of 313 Presents
Support Entertainment Client Manager and our sponsorship team when needed
What Will Make You Special:
Previous employment in event coordination, event production, hospitality or customer service
Experience in working at sports or entertainment venues
Self-starters, go-getters and motivated individuals who are eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
Open Availability – hours will vary each week based on the concert and event schedule
Must be able to commit to the full summer concert season (mid-May through end of August or September)
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Must be highly organized, able to exercise professionalism and good judgement
Applicants must be enrolled in college courses or recent graduate to be considered for 313 Presents Summer Assistant
Must be willing to work extended hours, nights, weekends and holidays
Applicants must have a reliable personal vehicle to get to all 313 Presents venues
Job may require spending an extended period outdoors in various conditions, lifting and transporting items up to 50 lbs. and multiple hours on your feet
Must be flexible and willing to take on different responsibilities on a show by show basis
