Position : Legal Administrator

Job Description : Purpose:
To assist with the day-to-day administration of the legal department, including organization and maintenance of electronic and paper filing systems, and intake and forwarding of questions to appropriate attorneys.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize and update electronic and paper records, such as contracts and litigation pleadings,
Maintain electronic and paper filing systems, such as the electronic contract management system
Provide records to legal department team members and other internal teams
Process payments for legal matters
Organize and maintain legal library and subscriptions
Place orders for supplies needed by legal department

Key Relationships:
In-house attorneys and paralegals
Members of the Sports Marketing and Finance teams

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Excellent collaboration skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced department
Ability to read and interpret contracts to find basic information, such as type of contract, parties, start and end date, and compensation
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office 365, including Sharepoint
Intermediate knowledge of electronic contract management software
Proficient with eSignature software (DocuSign preferred)
Proficient with legal billing software (Legal Tracker preferred)

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s degree (A. A.), paralegal certificate, or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two to four years experience as legal administrator preferred.
