Position : Office Manager
Job Description : We are looking for a full-time office manager for our primary care office. The ideal candidate would have management, HR, and billing experience in primary care. This could include family medicine, internal medicine, or pediatrics. Also would be beneficial to have knowledge of medicare, medicaid, and commercial insurance.Responsibilities for the position: Good organizational skills and HR/managerial skills.Maintain policies and procedures.Coordination of the everyday operations of the business, while maintaining policies and procedures.In charge of the hiring within the practice. This includes full HR role including payroll, performance reviews, staff scheduling, and PTO. Lead role in supervision of patient scheduling, patient accounts receivable, billing, and charge posting. Will work with biller in these roles.Competent with HIPPA compliance, and up-to-date with labor laws and other federal, state, and local agencies.Ability to manage and troubleshoot phones, audio, and IT components of the practice. IT help available. Promote a positive work environment and positive patient experiencePerform credentialing for the practice and providers. This includes but is not limited to credentialing with insurance companies, hospitals, and licensing boards.Order office supplies for both the management and clinical sides.
