Job Description : The Talent Acquisition Specialist focuses on developing and implementing sourcing and recruiting strategies to identify and attract qualified candidates. The ideal candidate works closely with hiring managers to open positions to be hired, strategically identifying and managing qualified candidates by engaging in various, creative, and cost-effective sourcing methods and managing the interview process.Develops and implements sourcing and recruiting strategies to identify and attract qualified candidates; includes the management of recruitment agencies and develops relationships with local talent sources to develop candidate pipelinesBuilds close partnerships with the business and help their business grow by developing and delivering the best solutions for attracting candidates. Needs to develop a strong understanding of the company´s business and mission to identify the right talentPre-screens candidates and presents qualified candidates to hiring managersCoordinates entire interview process and supports hiring managers in evaluating candidates for hireContributes in the design and implementation of global recruiting concepts and standards and ensures consistency in and adherence to recruiting policies and proceduresParticipates and drives Employer Branding (i.e. social media, career fairs, career web site) initiativesMaintains a thorough understanding of current state and federal employment law and recruiting best practices; appropriately interprets and applies employment law and company policy2-3 years of recruiting experience, preferably as an agency recruiter or a headhunter. Experience in manufacturing/ engineering/ life science recruiting is desirableBachelor´s degree in any disciplineResourceful and proficient in utilizing traditional and non-traditional tools for research and sourcing such as internet/online (resume database, company websites, associations, etc.) sourcing techniques, including LinkedIn, Google and other social media platformsA go-getter with excellent communication skills, critical thinking skills, very strong business acumenStrong organizational skill and can thrive in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem solving skills and ability to manage priority and handle demanding workloadHigh level of initiative, motivation and positive learning attitudeExcellent computer skills such as MS Office applicationsPOSITION REQUIREMENTS:QIAGEN requires proof of full COVID-19 vaccination as a condition of employment for new hires in all U.S. states other than Montana effective as of September 1, 2021.
