Job Description : We are seeking energetic, motivated, organized and highly competent individuals to be a part of our warehouse team. This person should be able to assist in maintaining and improving daily shipping goals while helping to reduce production costs, for our growing global company. This person will work with production support to pull and stage product for the production lines in the distribution area. Process shipments on the dock for Customer requirements and demands. Pick and store product throughout the warehouse.Candidate should demonstrate the capacity to aid in lead-time reduction, cost reduction and have impeccable accuracy. A candidate for this position must have a flexible schedule and be able to work overtime if required. Communicate with others involved in the shipping and receiving of productsHelp to maintain inventory accuracyOperate material handling equipment such as forklifts, reach and swing reach trucks, pallet jacks, dolliesWorking in heights requiredMaintain a clean and orderly warehouse through 5s principleWork on continual improvements for the departmentAssist in training of peers and othersUse computerized scanner systemPick, pack, stage, label and load outbound ordersUnload, stage, label, and put inbound product awayKnowledge and ExperienceOne-year shipping/receiving experience preferred but not requiredForklift experience preferred but not requiredStrong mathematical skillsComputer literacySupervisor Responsibilities: NoneWork Environment: Fast-paced, repetitive manufacturing environment with changing volumesPhysical Demands: Primarily physical work such as standing, walking, lifting, bending, constructing boxes and handling products.
