Position : Call Center Manager

Job Description : AAA Oregon/Idaho is looking for an experienced manager to help lead our World-Class Call Center!
Based onsite in our newly renovated Lake Oswego Call Center (at the 217 and I-5 interchange), this position supports our supervisors and front line team members in providing first class member service for emergency roadside events, membership, and travel operations.
As one of three Call Center Managers and under the direction of the Call Center Director, you will ensure the team runs smoothly with a high level of urgency, efficiency, and a spirit of joyfulness and colleague support.
You will guide team member development programs including recruitment, hiring, training, and coaching. You will actively assist with all areas of Emergency Roadside Services, Membership and Travel operations including workforce management, sales performance, member satisfaction performance, and effective delivery of all services.
Desired skills:
Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience
2+ years of Call Center experience
4+ years of progressive leadership experience with proven ability to lead and motivate at both staff and supervisory levels
Spanish/English bilingual skills preferred, but not required (bilingual pay differential offered)
Strong employee development and interpersonal skills required
Able to work with diverse groups of employees and customers in an inclusive and equitable environment
Experience interviewing, hiring, and onboarding in a positive and effective manner
Experience writing performance reviews, development plans, and supporting employee growth
Exceptional customer service skills with proven ability to de-escalate required
Ability to analyze problems and make independent decisions using sound judgement
Highly organized professional with previous operations experience preferred
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Full supervisory responsibilities of Call Center team, including Supervisory staff.
Shift:
AAA Oregon/Idaho is a 24/7 operation. This role oversees our late AM to evening shift. Ideal hours are 11:00 am to 8:00 pm, with one weekend day and alternating holidays.
