Job Description : General Position Summary: Our global manufacturing company with businesses supporting a variety of industrial markets is looking for an exceptional individual to join our customer service team located in Farmington Hills, MI in support of our Semiconductor Division.The Semiconductor Division supplies equipment manufacturers and end users products manufactured by EKK that lead to the production of Semiconductor chips.The ideal candidate will exhibit a high desire and drive to success both personally and professionally in a fast paced, rapidly expanding company.Essential Job Functions: · Strong sense of urgency and responsiveness to our customers· Accurately handle and process all customer PO’s submitted via email or customer portals, including entering orders, releasing orders to our factories, monitoring shipment status, invoicing and troubleshooting any issues.· Track inventory quantity, stock and level efficiency and quality· Place and expedite orders with our manufacturing plants in the USA, Japan and Taiwan· Update customer requirements on a timely basis· Respond to customer enquiries· Coordinate with other business functions as necessary to ensure the customer receives the best service possible· Work with product team to resolve issues and/or answer questions· Manage high level account(s)· Develop strong customer relationships with the Sales Directors and the Sales team· Liaise with sales and office functions to serve the customer efficiently· Perform other related duties as assigned or requested including logistics coordinator backup.Critical Job Dimensions (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities): · Knowledge and experience buying parts from various factories· Excellent verbal and written communication skills· Excellent time management and organizational skills· Strong work ethic· Strong analytical, problem solving and process improvement skills· Ability to function independently and multi-task· Capable of assessing concurrent multiple tasks and prioritizing actions· High attention to detail· Superior customer service skills· A “can-do” attitude· Flexibility to working in more than one time zone· Ability to work in a team environment· Knowledge and experience buying parts from various factories· Knowledge of international shipping document a plus· Previous experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Outlook and Office Applications· Experience with SAP highly desirable· 2+ years of previous customer service/logistics experience with preference in the Semiconductor or automotive industry· Japanese language or business experience in a global business environment highly desirableRequired Job Related Certificates/Licenses: Associates or Bachelor’s DegreeWork Environment & Physical Demand: Work EnvironmentOffice Based (Farmington Hills, MI), flexibility in terms of working hours is requiredLiftingUp to 75lbsPhysical SightComputer/Desk WorkNO PHONE CALLS PLEASEJob Type: Full-timePay: $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offParental leaveReferral programTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayExperience:Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
