The Probate Pro is seeking a File Clerk for its Royal Oak, MI office. This is a very busy practice that thrives on hard-working, enthusiastic professionals.Responsibilities: Process incoming mail, including sorting, scanning, and distributing to appropriate staffLocating files for upcoming hearings and otherwise as needed and deliver to attorneysBackup to receptionist for lunch and other out-of-office coverageFollow a filing system and organize documents according to preestablished protocolOther tasks as assignedRequirements: · High school diploma or equivalent· Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow-through· Exceptional communication skills· Adapts well to change and maintains a positive attitude under stress· Ability to multitask and stay focused on the most important and urgent issues· Results-oriented and assume a level of ownership in work product· Proactive and thrives in a fast-paced environment· Adoption of our core values· Computer skills, including Outlook· Knowledge of office equipment, including phones, computers, copiers, scanners, fax machines, postage machines, etc.· The ability to lift 20 lbs.· Ability to work overtime occasionally to meet deadlinesPrevious law firm experience preferred.Perks of the JobCompetitive salaryMedical and prescription benefitsDental and vision benefitsHealth savings accountLong-Term Disability, Short-Term Disability and Life Insurance optionsPaid holidays / Paid time off401k planAmazing workplace cultureAbout UsThe Probate Pro is a dynamic law firm based in Royal Oak, Michigan with about 25 attorneys and 60 employees total.
