Lake Health District consists of a 24-bed critical access hospital, Lake Health Clinic, Alturas Health Clinic, Lakeview Gardens (Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Facilities), Home Health & Hospice, Mental Health Centers, Public Health for Lake County, and DME Company (medical supply). Human Resource Assistant
Full time, hourly, non-exempt, Wage DOE.
Benefited position after 500 worked hour introductory period is met.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Serves as a specialized assistant and clerical support in the hiring, benefits, compensation processes. Provides administrative support to the Director of Human Resources and the HR Department. Participates in drafting policies and procedures related to personnel, the work environment, or facility requirements. Works as a team player with all departments, staff, and future employees, with positive representation of the HR Department.
***Mandatory Vaccination is not required with proper Medical or Religious Exclusion forms (may be downloaded from the Oregon Health Authority website) and submitted to Human Resources at Lake Health District.***

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: None required.

Experience: Five (5) years of clerical and administrative experience, preferably in health care setting. Experience working for/with executive-level staff members preferred. Previous experience in HR field preferred.

Skills: Computer literate & knowledge of variety of computer software programs. Ability to efficiently perform duties with minimal supervision and within designated deadlines. Ability to retrieve, communicate and present data and information both verbally and in writing. Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken and written word using the English language. Ability to use independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload and projects. Maintain confidentiality.
