Job Description : PLANT MANAGER – Profile ExtrusionAs Plant Manager, you will have responsibility for everything that happens within the plant, managing all aspects of labor, materials, product design, and productivity. This is a truly exciting opportunity for a team-based manager who knows how to build a high-energy team and keep their team energized and accountable.DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary function of the Plant Manager is to manage all aspects of the extrusion plant.Manage Plant supervisors in Production, QC, Maintenance, Materials Planning, and Accounting.The Plant Manager is responsible for the efficient scheduling of all production for the entire plant.The Plant Manager is responsible for Staffing and Material replenishment.The Plant Manager ensures that all supervisors are appropriately trained and that the supervisors appropriately train line workers.Manage the housekeeping such that the plant is clean, safe, and well-maintained (LOTO and housekeeping).Manage & participate in continuous improvement initiatives.REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business.The Plant Manager must have a minimum of 5 years of management experience in manufacturing plant using Nylon/Polyester Extrusion machines.The Plant Manager must have excellent people skills, be a “hands-on leader,” and have the ability to have a team rally behind them to meet the output and growth goals of the company.The Plant Manager must have a “take-charge” personality who can efficiently and effectively identify and solve problems and manage the growth and opportunity this company is experiencing.Experience with continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, & 6-Sigma.Job Type: Full-timePay: $135,000.00 – $175,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insuranceVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayApplication Question(s):How many years have you been in plant management?Do you have experience with plastic or rubber extrusion?Work Location: One location
