Job Description : Job Title: Plant ManagerPosition Reports To: General ManagerLocation: Portland, OregonDate: 2/9/2022General Summary: Thermoplastic hose manufacturer looking for Plant Manager, with experience in hose manufacturing, including:Working knowledge and understanding of hose extrusion and braiding equipment,Hose development, including hose formulations of plastic compounds and fabricsHose assembly, and crimpingMRP systemPurchasingInventory ControlQuality systems.Inside/Outside Sales and Customer Service.Major Functions: Primary responsibility will be to manage, lead, mentor, and train 35-40 employees in a Thermoplastic Hose Manufacturing Facility that operates 24 hours a day 5 days a week.¡ Manage the day-to-day plant operations. Be available 24 hours a day for all crews, customers, and suppliers¡ Manage and be directly involved in new product development, purchasing, customer service, sales, and production work order control¡ Manage the company Quality process¡ Manage the company RMA system¡ Manage the company Inventory¡ Manage the company Purchasing. Will negotiate with, and qualifying suppliers¡ Have a strong Mechanical Aptitude and the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, all situations that could arise.
