Job Description : Surgery SchedulerScheduler Job Responsibilities: Medical office seeking part time surgery scheduler. Positive work environment in modern setting over-looking downtown Salem.Answers phones and emails, schedules and confirms appointments, and inputs patient data into computer schedule.Organizes workflow by collecting customer information and overseeing surgical schedule.Oversees department schedule by maintaining, updating and rearranging surgical cases as needed.Completes requests by greeting patients, in person or on the telephone, and answering or referring inquiries.Maintains patient confidence by keeping information confidential.Ordering supplies needed for surgical cases.Downloading patient pre and post operative photos.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.This is a part-time position of 4 hours each day. No weekend hours or over-time. This position has flexibility in hours such as AM, PM or 10-2pm.Scheduler Qualifications/Skills: SchedulingStrong attention to detailsExcellent communication skills – both verbal and writtenAdministrative writing skillsProfessionalism, confidentiality, and organizationComputer skillsEducation, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: High school diploma, GED, or equivalentPrevious administrative experience preferred.Job Types: Part-time, ContractPay: From $16.00 per hourBenefits:Flexible scheduleSchedule:Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Salem, OR 97301: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Work Location: One location
