Job Description : Fulltime at HQ – Bozeman, Montana
We are looking for Technical Customer Support Specialist to join a dynamic engineering team to help us deliver quality products to our customers. Our cutting-edge products are used in medical and research facilities to expand human knowledge in neuroscience and neurology.
Responsibilities:
Builds and maintains thorough knowledge of Neuralynx hardware and software products and how they are used by customers to perform neuroscience research.
Provides customer technical support through telephone, video conference, and on-site troubleshooting of hardware and software.
Records and compiles customer complaints, tracks trends, and develops resolution tools including updates to FAQ, TechTips, and support videos.
Organize and prepare for regional or national tradeshows and related conferences/meetings.
Coordinate sales demo equipment.
Assist with the preparation and implementation of market surveys related to product input and company performance.
Assist in the development of technical marketing tools, user manuals, help files, quick guides, and instructions for use.
Schedule and implement the installation of certain System sales including the training of Neuralynx customers.
RMA processing and tracking.
Customer order quoting, processing, and tracking.
Train distributors
Required Qualifications
Excellent troubleshooting and technical skills
Computer and basic networking skills
Strong professional and interpersonal communication skills including excellent verbal/ written communication skills and professional phone etiquette
Positive attitude, including a willingness to serve customer needs even when customers are difficult
Ability to operate in a changing environment
Ability to travel approximately 15% of the time, domestically and internationally
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting in the neurobiology or electronics fields strongly preferred
Previous experience in a sales role
Bachelor’s Degree in science, engineering, software or related field from an accredited university with one year of experience, or 3+ years of directly relevant experience
