Job Description : Thanks for your interest in the job!I am looking to a hire a part time and or eventually full time video editor who will be responsible in assisting me with the creation and management of my business social media and Youtube channel that I am currently working on. It’s going to be a long term project with videos and social media focused on light hearted education and story telling that have high production value and cater to a large demographic of viewers. Videos will range from Journalism, historical recants, and politics for example.I am looking for someone who can share some of the work load of video editing, creating thumbnails, managing social media accounts like Twitter, Instagram, Tiktok, Twitch, and youtube and someone who is comfortable with also helping researching topics that will be involved in the channel. The position would likely start at $15/h but can range up to $30 an hour depending on what skill level the video editer starts with.The position has potential for raises and growth as business and project grows and depending on how things go as we work together, I would be interested in hiring on this person as a business partner in the future.I am completely fine with someone who has very minimal experience with video editing softwares like photoshop and Adobe Primiere, but the work ethic will need to be there where you are comfortable sitting down and learning the programs yourself, asking questions, and building the skill set so we are able to create consistant and professional videos.For those who are seasoned video editors, I will be working close hand and hand with you. Although I do have knowledge of video editing software, whoever would be joining my team would be expected to work with me collaboratively where we teach each other different tips and tricks to improve our video production quality.My business is located in Battle Creek. The job would be both in person and remote work accessible. We’d likely start off in person for the first few months so we can get a sense of workflow and creative direction, but can migrate to incorporating more remote work down the line.I am looking to hire within the next couple weeks and schedule a few days a week to have you come out and start working. I can provide all equipment for production as well as video editing software.
