Job Description : Field Services Manager Pacific Northwest (Remote) Full-time RemoteAre you looking for a high impact opportunity? Consider joining the Evergreen team! You will manage, supervise, support, train and assist a team of residential field specialists who live and work in their local support territories stationed across the region. Field Specialists support weatherization, HVAC and home services contractors, distributors, manufacturer representatives, retailers and other market actors collectively known as trade allies. Our Field Specialists train contractors to propose, sell and complete energy efficiency projects for utility residential customers.You will also work directly with utilities to support energy efficiency programs with a focus on customer service and satisfaction. Strong relationships with trade allies, utilities, customers, and program partners are a key element of the position, which requires local and regional travel.You will also provide technical and subject matter expertise and contribute to developing program training and marketing materials and coordinating with other SME’s and technical advisors on the program. At Evergreen, we hire individuals who impress their prospects and clients with their industry knowledge of best practices and with insights into how Evergreen’s ever-expanding knowledge and expertise can help their businesses grow and scale.What you’ll do: Supervise and support assigned outreach team members and manage their workflow.Assess the work performance of assigned team members and identify strengths as well as collaborate on areas of improvement.Ensure bullets/wins and time sheets are delivered on time.Develop and maintain relationships with clients, Program Managers, and stakeholders.Understand goals and provide guidance to accelerate or decelerate as needed to stay aligned with goal.Work with team to launch new program services and outreach in a thoughtful and well- planned way.Contribute to developing sales, marketing and training plans working with trade allies, utilities, and team members to drive program results.Participate in company training, communications, and program planning efforts to drive successful results to meet client needs.Assist Field Specialists and other team members with difficult projects.Other duties, as assigned.You’re best for this role if you: Provide exceptional leadership and mentoringDemonstrate thoughtfulness and care in all communications, with considerations to the audience and stakeholdersDemonstrate exceptional problem-solving skillsHave advanced understanding of building science principals, residential construction and/or energy efficiencyStrong interest or experience in training and/or community engagement or workforce developmentAre highly detail oriented with exceptional organizational skillsRespond quickly to inquiries and attend to detailsAre self-motivated with a demonstrated independent work historyWork collaboratively with clients and customers to exceed expectationsDemonstrate interest and/or experience working with utility efficiency programsBe flexible and adaptable to both virtual and in-field work due to COVID-19 disruptionsHave exceptional written and verbal communication and general knowledge office software, online tools, and virtual communication platformsYour qualifications: Experience in sales, networking, utility and/or energy-efficiency industries, weatherization, HVAC and/or utility marketing;Direct management of field professionals, contractors or trade allies preferred;Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in home services, weatherization, HVAC in an energy or utility environment is a plus;Problem solving skills and ability to discover and implement innovative solutions;Self-starter who is highly detail oriented, organized, a team player and goal focused;Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills, past sales experience with utility or energy conservation is a plus;The ability to work well in a virtual independent and team setting and provide exceptional customer service both internally and externally;Partial US regional travel and extensive local travel required, including use of personal vehicle.
