Job Description : The Harborview Inn & RV Park is looking for an enthusiastic individual with a heart for customer service and teamwork. We believe that taking care of our employees equates to an overall positive experience for both employees and guests.We are a professionally managed, authentic, and quality Boutique Inn located on Tillamook Bay.Job duties include (but are not limited to):Ensure the highest level of customer service by maintaining Harborview’s high-quality standards and addressing guests’ questions in a timely and professional manner.Promptly greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.Meet guest requests with efficiency and professionalism.Ability to anticipate a potential guest’s needs in advance of the request.Maintain an even-tempered nature with both guests and teammates.Complete guest registration process, issue key or lockbox code, details and directions.Complete guest check-out.Accurately process credit card and cash transactions according to the policies and procedures.Balance credit card and cash receipts and distribute the report(s) to the owner and manager.Compete and run various reports.Make pre-arrival informational calls to upcoming guests when applicable.Answer incoming calls and assist guests in with reservations and related matters.Prepare housekeeping sheet and maintain communication with housekeeping to ensure all check-in rooms are ready.Collaborate with lead housekeeper/management to ensure proper staffing for the next day.Visually inspect cleaned rooms and resolve any issues.Visually inspect the RV Park, address repairs with the appropriate person, and ensure guests follow park rules and guidelines.Light housekeeping around the office and clubhouse.Maintain positive guest, team member, vendor, and owner relationships.Assist management by providing information relevant to guest experience, reporting repairs/damages, and day-to-day feedback to help solve any challenges.Interact with guests, employees, and people outside the motel professionally and professionally.Resolve day-to-day problems with a calm demeanor, think clearly, and use good judgment.Resolve guest issues to resolution and discuss with management to improve the guest experience.Escalate any outstanding guest concerns or inquiries to management that require special attention or follow-up.Follow policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and team members.Previous hotel front desk experience is helpful but not necessary. However, anyone with office or computer experience should be able to excel.Applicants must be flexible with scheduling, including filling in for other positions at the hotel when necessary. Shifts are between 9 AM and 6:30 PM most days.Although this is a full-time, year-round position, we are flexible.
