The logistical convenience this brings customers is unrivalled.We are looking to add a Human Resource Assistant to our team. This is a part time position working in our Warren location and reports to the HR Generalist.If you are a person who likes to work independently, is detail orientated and understands the importance of confidentiality then this may be a great opportunity for you.Qualifications:· Minimum of 1 year Human Resource Assistant experience· Excellent written and verbal communication skills· Strong organizational skills· Ability to work with all levels of staff· Proficient with Microsoft Word, ExcelResponsibilities· File and maintain personnel and training records, in compliance with HR regulations· Compile reports from personnel databases· Review and update HR information system records· Enforce company policies, rules and regulations· Respond to various information requests from governmental agencies, such as unemployment, in a timely manner· Communicate all relevant information to employees and job applicants· Record and maintain data for each employee, including such information as absences and supervisory reports on performance· Compute wages and deductions, and enter data into computers· Assist with compiling employee time, production, and payroll data from time sheets and other records· Review time sheets and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies· Verify attendance, hours worked and post information onto designated records· Onboard and process paperwork for new employees and enter employee information into the payroll system· Keep track of leave time, such as vacation, personal, and sick leave, for employees· Conduct verifications of employment· Assist with payroll and billing· Enter and approve temporary staff hours· Track employee anniversary, perfect attendance and set up recognition.Job Type: Part-timePay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hourBenefits:Flexible scheduleSchedule:Monday to FridayApplication Question(s):Are you aware this is a part time position and requires you to work in the office, not remotely?Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Human Resources: 1 year (Required)Work Location: One location
