Job Description : Batteries Plus Bulbs – Retail Sales and Service OpportunitiesWe provide a highly competitive compensation package that includes base pay, monthly team bonus, individual sales commission and performance incentives. We provide a $21.00 per hour minimum pay guarantee during your first 6 months. If you are earning above the minimum during this guarantee period you are paid what you earn. We want you to have the necessary time to learn our business. Average hourly sales associates in our Bend location earn over $22 the per hour through base, bonus and commission. The following gives you an idea about our business.Our locally owned franchise group has 13 locations in Oregon and SW Washington. If you like to provide excellent customer service, enjoy sales, trouble shooting and would also enjoy learning to repair consumer electronic devices we would love to hear from you. We also have a need for management candidates in our branches for those that want it. We offer a great benefit package that include 401k match, health insurance, PTO and paid holidays to help create a great career opportunity for those interested in sales and customer service.We continue to grow and need to add to our teams. We need energetic, self-motivated sales and customer service professionals that work well in a team.No prior experience with our products or services is required as we will take care of the training, all you need is a back ground in customer service and sales. Training for the position will take place in Salem M-F for the first 2 weeks. With over 700 locations, and access to over 45,000 unique battery and light bulb products, Batteries Plus Bulbs has become the single source supplier for all battery and light bulb power needs.Duties:Customer Service / SalesDemonstrate a customer first mentalityGreet customers, determine needs and ask questionsLook for additional opportunities and needs – provide a complete solutionOffer add-on items, participate in retail store and commercial sales activities to achieve sales goals and bonusesOperate technology based Point of Sale system to complete sales transactionsIn bound phone sales / serviceInstall large and small batteries in various devicesDisassemble / reassemble phones and tablets to complete repairsFunction as a team playerMerchandising / InventoryInventory stock maintenance and managementShip and or deliver to commercial accountsMaintain clean and full store appearanceBuild displays; to better market seasonal productsPrepare store for daily opening and closing*Qualifications:Must be able to work a 40 hour work week that could include Saturday and Sunday shifts.Good listening and verbal communication skillsSales and customer serviceAbility to gain quick and solid understanding of company’s electronic POS and cross reference systemAbility to multitask effectively and prioritize, follow up, and meet deadlines with multiple tasks and projectsAbility to calculate simple math and percentagesStrong eyesight and technical aptitude required for various types of repair work we offerValid driver’s license and ability to use company vehicleMust be able to lift 50 + lbs. to eye levelBatteries Plus Bulbs is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free Workplace.
