Job Description : Equivalent Experience
Entry level in person opportunity to get into healthcare setting if you have experience handling inbound calls! One of the primer and biggest healthcare providers in the area is hiring for their Medical Team in the Hillsboro, Oregon area!
Position Description:
Responsible for answering calls and providing a high level of customer service
Receive a wide ranges of calls that will mostly be about scheduling and canceling appointments
Use guidelines and send messages to the clinics to schedule or cancel
Transfer patients who may need to speak with a different department or have an emergency
Candidates will have support from their team leads
Responsibilities Include:
Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments for services
Call patients for appointment reminders and quality measure outreach
Collect care specific information for Primary Care or Specialty Care services
Review medical chart to collect information for health care team
Takes messages and forward to appropriate personnel
Verify insurance eligibility and health insurance coverage, update all demographic information
Complete Scheduling form with above information and transfer to the Registration
Qualifications and Strengths:
Candidates will have 1-2+ years if customer service experience, call center experience preferred
Comfortable multitasking while on a call in a fast paced environment
Have the ability to use multiple monitors
Experience with Epic System a plus
Healthcare/Medical/Patient Service experience is preferred but isn’t required
Pay:
$18-$20/hr
