Position : Apartment Manager – Oregon City
Job Description : OverviewWe are looking for enthusiastic and experienced new managers who will oversee a 70 unit apartment community in Oregon City, Oregon. This person or team will share the responsibilities and split the 80 hours per week between them (two F/T positions).We offer a generous compensation package that includes a salary of $6460. and a full rent credit of $1300 for a 2 bedroom apartment, with washer and dryer. In addition, there are $50 in monthly reimbursements for expenses. This position also comes with health/dental insurance.You will work in rental office separate from you’re apartment. The required duties include, but are not limited to, receiving and depositing rent, enforcing apartment and management policies, maintaining the grounds, responding to maintenance requests, overseeing vendors and being available to respond to emergencies.QualificationsThe following skills are essential to succeed in the position: MarketingExperience in retail/sales.Enjoy working with people.Must be available to work Saturday & Sunday.Knowledge of and ability to adhere to Fair Housing laws.MaintenanceHave at least 1 year apartment maintenance experience or equivalent.Be willing and able to oversee vendors and paint/clean/repair apartments at turnover.Must be able to push/pull 70 lbs.Maintain exceptional curb appeal by picking up the grounds twice daily.Office/AccountingHaving experience in apartment management is REQUIRED.Education minimum of high school diploma/GED.Must have strong mathematical skills.Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.Have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Through the link below, send us your resume(s), cover letter(s) and tell us why you think you are a good fit for this position.Norris & Stevens is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
