Job Description : Fast-paced and growing property management company seeking a full-time Leasing Consultant for our market rate apartments. We are looking for a competitive and driven individual who can hit the ground running and fill vacancies. If you are a problem solver who is goal driven, creative, in it for the long-haul and passionate about leasing, we have the perfect position for you!The following sample of duties is expected, but not limited:Use of sales techniques to secure appointments and encourage prospective renters to lease. We encourage our agents to regularly seek additional training and resources to help them perfect their individual leasing style.Monitor and manage all guest cards.Respond to rental inquiries within a timely manner and follow up on all leads consistently.Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. This position includes a high volume of administrative work related to emails, letter drafting, generating lease documents and communication with vendors and colleagues. Must be able to articulate and share ideas in a clear and thoughtful manner.Process rental applications and prepare lease documents.Assist new residents with their move-in process from start to finish. This may include obtaining qualifying documents, discussing the lease, payment terms, utility connections and move-in appointment.Communicate our unique brand to our residents and prospective residents.Tour apartments and demonstrate features/benefits both in-person, and virtually.Inspect apartments for quality to ensure a fantastic tour and move-in experience.Understand the property, surrounding community and know your competitors.Complete weekly market study.Assist with property retention by communicating with existing residents about contract renewals and placing units on notice for move-out.Encourage a positive online reputation using social media and other platforms.Encourage positive resident engagement. This may involve planning resident events (traditional and virtual), breakfast on-the-go, or any other fun activity to help us get to know our Residents, outside of collecting their rent payments.Exhibit excellent customer service skills during all interactions. We are looking for the right fit that truly wants to take care of our residents and keep them loving where they live.
