Job Summary

The Performance Media Specialist serves alongside the Performance Media Strategist(s) and acts as a bridge between employees, stakeholders and vendor partners. They create plans, execute and monitor campaigns and manage the entire process from planning to placement to measurement. Possess well-rounded knowledge of various media platforms, both digital and traditional, and the nuances between each.

Assists strategists in the development and execution of all marketing and advertising activities.

Executes plans in accordance with approved budgets and meets all submission deadlines.

Contracts placements and rates with various media vendors.

Serves as liaison to strategists, project managers, content and creative teams in an effort to coordinate and supervise asset production and delivery; ensuring that every asset is consistent with planned marketing strategies.

Assists with quality assurance process in analytics platforms.

Traffics assets to partners on time.

Assists in reporting on effectiveness of efforts.

Optimizes media mix, as needed, to reach outlined goals.

Evaluates and presents new media opportunities.

Assists in invoice reconciliation, coding and payment processing.

Provides excellent service to internal and external partners.

Identifies issues and resolves problems in a timely manner, using creativity and sound judgement. Displays the ability to be self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized.

Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in communications, marketing, journalism or closely related field required.

Minimum of three years professional experience in media planning and buying or coordination, preferable at an agency.

Demonstrates the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Certifications in Google Adwords and/or Google Analytics preferred.
