You are responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining a safe clean work area. Working with tools such as pliers, pallet jacks, impact wrench and overhead crane.Essential Functions: Setup tools, equipment and machine at the start of shiftAssemble parts per print/job travelerMaintain efficiency while producing high quality partsRetrieve material from supermarket or staging areaPut away material, tools and shutdown of machineryEnsure scrap log is accurate and completed by end of each shiftAccurately complete ‘Day by Hour’ production reporting throughout shiftCompetencies: Able to read blue prints/job travelersAttention to detailMust be able to work with hand toolsMust be able to respond to verbal and written instructionsPhysical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb and bend, etc. within a manufacturing environment – may require lifting up to 50 lbs.
