Job Description : Abby’s Legendary Pizza is looking for an energetic, creative, self-motivated, forward-thinking, and hard-working individual for the position of Marketing Manager.Abby’s is a Pacific Northwest regional chain of casual, family-oriented restaurants. The company was founded 57 years ago with the opening of its first restaurant in Roseburg, Oregon, and now consists of 36 stores located mostly in small-to-medium towns in Oregon and Washington.Since the company’s founding, it has primarily served communities that appreciate the “hometown” approach to product, atmosphere and attitude. In turn, Abby’s supports organizations and events in each town it serves. As part of our successful team you will work with a growing, financially sound, community-minded company and be an integral part of our legacy.Position Summary. The Marketing Manager’s role will primarily involve executing the marketing strategy and programs developed by the company’s marketing and advertising agency.Additionally, the Marketing Manager supports the community marketing and outreach of each store’s General Manager. This is a “roll-up your sleeve s” “boots on the ground” position and requires some day travel.Duties & Responsibilities: Work with senior management and advertising agency to implement the marketing strategy.Develop internal and external marketing materials and collateral.Work with advertising agency on execution of advertising on television, radio, outdoor, digital, etc.Monitor social engagement and interact with consumers through messaging, comments, and reviews.Develop, implement and monitor social content to generate authentic engagement and drive awareness on social channels.Build and maintain social communities.Monitor and analyze content analytic tools and social analytics tools.Maintain reporting on channel results and performance.Implement and support initiatives to increase company awareness, audience and engagement overall and within individual communities.Update website as directed by brand programs and promotions, along with general maintenance.Fulfillment and management of promotional materials within defined market and locations.Management of long-standing community sponsorships including youth athletics, high school athletics, fairs, rodeos, festivals, etc.Manage 1.0 FTE.Day-to-day contact with District Managers and store General Managers.This position is ideally located in Roseburg or Eugene.Qualifications/Experience/Skills: Bachelor’s degree required.5 to 10 years experience in marketing and sales.Restaurant marketing experience strongly preferred.Proficiency in social media platforms.Experience with digital advertising, marketing and branding.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite & Adobe Suite.Must be organized, have a sense of urgency, develop rapport with customers, multi-task and have a sharp professional personality.Respect for a 57-year-old brand that is successful and doesn’t need to be reinvented.Ability to interface with operating management at all levels of the company.Responds to requests for service and assistance, manages difficult customer situations, and responds promptly to store and vendor needs.Outgoing, self-starter and self-motivated.Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.Strong attention to detail.Ability to balance and work on multiple projects simultaneously.Curiosity and the desire for continual learning.Job Type: Full-timePay: $39,914.00 – $112,029.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayExperience:Marketing: 1 year (Preferred)Marketing & Advertising Occupations: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: Multiple Locations
