Prancing Poodle Pet Care & Dog Walking Services is looking for candidates to join our team of pet care assistants.This is a part-time position, best suited to someone looking for extra income. Bookings are sporadic but are heaviest during the summer and holiday seasons.The ideal person for this position: has a passion for animals and enjoys being with them.has past experience with companion animals, either as an owner or from previous job experience.is trustworthy in another person’s home.makes the safety of the pets under their care their highest priority.is an independent and reliable self-starter with lots of energy, common sense, and a customer service mindset.lives in our service area.Responsibilities: Provide loving, comprehensive care for clients’ pets in their homes.Provide dog walking services when required.Check the food and water supply and refresh as needed.Clean the pet’s environment.Communicate with the pet’s owners through an online app to update them on their pet’s activities during the service.Secure the pet’s home upon leaving.Requirements: Prior experience working with dogs and cats preferredExperience with other companion animals is a plus, i.e., rabbits, hamsters, chickens, ferrets, reptilesExcellent communicatorCompassion, patience, punctuality, and reliabilityThe ability to walk, run, pull, push, bend and reachCapable of handling all sizes of caninesPriority given to individuals who can also be available to extend overnight care.Available to work holidaysAbout Prancing Poodle Pet Care & Dog Walking Services: Prancing Poodle is a full-service, in-home, pet sitting and dog walking company.
