WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to run our S&R section in the Operations & Logistics department. This role is responsible for shipping out and receiving all packages for Air MI.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
As a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator, you will verify and keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment using our UPS and FedEx systems. Receive and compare identifying information of shipments to verify against bills of ladings, invoices, and purchase orders. Set up shipments for large machinery. Resolve methods of shipment, applying knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates. Other job tasks will include processing and issue raw material to production to manufacture finished goods ready for shipment. You’ll pick up finished product from production and load trailers, complete shipping documentation, and schedule pickups. Confirm orders in an integrated computer system to relieve inventory and start the invoice process. You’ll remove raw material scrap from the production floor, prepare material for shipment, fill out packing list and email a copy to the recipient. Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure there are no variances and perform inventory movements in SAP when needed. Also, recycling, banding, shrink-wrapping, and maintaining a clean, safe, and professional workspace. This position works Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
You will report directly to the Operations Supervisor. You will work side by side with the Sr. Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to handle this section of the department. This role works with every department in the facility by helping them ship out packages and machinery, and by receiving all packages that are delivered.

2+ years of shipping and receiving experience within a manufacturing, warehouse, or equivalent environment
2+ years experience operating a forklift
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
Ability to bend and stand during entire shift
May be required to work with toxic or caustic chemicals, and be exposed to fumes or airborne particle
Experience with SAP preferred
High School diploma or GED
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
