Job Description : Seeking professional guides to lead groups in Yellowstone National Park:Day Hiking Guides: Day-long interpretive hiking tours in Yellowstone’s backcountry and frontcountry: Lamar Valley, Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, Upper Geyser Basin. Five to seven miles of hiking.Active Van Tour Guides: Day-long interpretive Upper & Lower Loop van tours. Up to three miles of walking.Sea Kayaking Guides: Morning excursions Yellowstone Lake. 8-10 hour work day, depending. Tours begin June 1Support Staff: Daily managerial tasks; sandwich making, phone calls, e-mail, walk-ins, etc. Option to train to become a guide.Daily Tours based out of Cameron, Montana near Quake Lake. RV Resort/Restaurant located next to the office. Guides sometimes live out of travel trailers or van life.Qualifications & Skills:Wilderness First ResponderPrevious guiding experienceClean driving recordAbility to drive 15 passenger van/trailer skillsAbility to live remotely21-years-old or olderKnowledge of Yellowstone National Park flora, fauna, and historyMountain travel safety skillsMorning personYellowstone Hiking Guides is a small local company looking for Active Adventure Guides starting May 2022. Work while exploring Yellowstone National Park! Share your love for the outdoors with visitors from around the world. Commute through Yellowstone for your daily drive. Spend your season (May-Oct) walking through herds of bison, steaming thermal features and untamed wild lands.
