POSITION: JCS District Bookkeeper
LOCATION: JCS Central Office
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for processing and reconciling all phases of payroll on a semi-monthly basis and submitting deductions.
Reporting retirement to Office of Retirement Services.
Responsible for all accounts payable for general fund, athletics, and food service; making deposits
for monies received; processing and reconciling all invoices and purchase orders.
All invoicing needed for the general fund.
Reconciling Frontline/EduStaff third party pay for teacher subs, athletic coaches, and support
staff subs.
Compiling all staff attendance, computing and processing year end sick day payouts, and
retiree’s payouts.
Staff health insurance sign up, changes, and terminations.
Workers compensation reporting to insurance company upon any employee injury.
Assisting Business Manager, Superintendent, and all other staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Prefer a minimum of 2 year Accounting Degree, and have school business experience. Must be
proficient in accounting, accuracy, and detail. Should also be analytical, flexible and have the ability to
work well with others.
